Hello Fair Future Movement!

Below are three actions we can take over the next few weeks. Actions are updated every three weeks.

Keep Families Safe
ICE has been conducting surge operations in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin, recently detaining dozens of people. The ActWisconsin Coalition in partnership with Voces de la Frontera is collecting donations to support impacted families. Support mutual aid efforts here. Join meetings on 7/9 and 7/16 to support the West Allis ICE OUT Coalition in advocating for policies that keep families safe.
Advocate for Safe Streets
On July 14th, the Milwaukee Common Council will discuss and vote on changes to MPD’s police chase policy (SOP 660). Contact your alder to let them know you support the traffic calming measures recommended by the community and the Fire and Police Commission, instead of reckless police chases. Demand Fair Labor Practices
Anodyne workers have spent 6+ months bargaining a contract with FairWave, their out-of-state private equity owner, but FairWave has undermined the process with multiple unlawful actions. Workers overwhelmingly voted to authorize a strike. Support them by sending FairWave a letter demanding they bargain in good faith. Donate to their strike and defense fund.
