Celebrate Hispanic / Latine Heritage Month
Watch movies, read books, attend events, etc, to recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures, histories, and significant contributions of Hispanic and Latine communities to the US. Find events happening in Milwaukee here.
Protect Our Privacy & Safety
Join the Milwaukee Turners at the Fire and Police Commission (FPC) meeting on Sep 17 at 5:30pm to urge the Common Council to cancel the city’s existing Flock contract. Attend the FPC meeting in-person or virtually. Contact the mayor and your alderperson letting them know that restrictions aren’t enough. Find sample scripts here.
Stop Line 5
Join tribal leaders and organizations across the Great Lakes Region in calling on Gov Evers to halt Enbridge’s Line 5 reroute project and take action against the company following a major natural gas liquids spill in northern Wisconsin. Find phone and email scripts here.
